Since its opening, the beautiful and chic new Japanese and Chinese restaurant Jatoba harvest praise for its outstanding cuisine and exquisite flavors offered to its customers.
Hidden in the heart of Montreal’s business district, the Jatoba is a partnership including celebrity chef Antonio Park (known for his excellent Park Restaurant in Westmount, which offers wonderful sushis and Japanese cuisine with a Korean and South American influences), A5 management people (Rachel Rachel, Quai No. 4) and Marco Benatar (Flyjin). Chef Olivier Vigneault (Miso, Kaizen, Park) officiates in the kitchen with his team to prepare the superb fish dishes, tuna or beef tataki, dumplings, fried rice and vegetables. Jatoba has also a beautiful bar area where you can sit for a cocktail and watch the mixologist and the team in action in the kitchen. A balance of industrial and contemporary design makes up the warm and elegant setting of downtown’s Jatoba. Jatoba is open for lunch and dinner, Monday through Saturday, and offers a valet service for parking.
