A flowering city centre

As the warm weather arrives, flowers come back to embellish the downtown streets.

Each year, flowers come back in downtown Montreal to embellish the streets during summer. Destination centre-ville teams plant these flowers at the end of May in the main downtown arteries, on lampposts and at ground level, from Sherbrooke Street to René-Lévesque boulevard, but also on Sainte-Catherine street and some of its cross streets.

Colourful fruit shrubs, herbs and flowers take place at the heart of the business district, but also around parking lots urban gardens: between De Maisonneuve boulevard and De La Montagne street, and between Viger street and Jeanne-Mance street.

These flowers will stay in downtown Montreal until the end of September.
