Earth Day 2017

  • No to be missed

Earth Day has been created to help people and companies reduce their impact on the environment, in order to provide the best future to our children. Come celebreate Earth Day on April 22, and participate to the Great Collection!

This year, the Great Collection will take place on April 20, at the parking located behind the Gesù church (accessible via Saint-Alexandre street). The event aims at collecting hazardous material and electronic products that can be found in our office. Shops, institutions and companies are invited to participate to this free action to get rid of their obsolete computers and related electronic material.

Last year in Québec, the collections managed to gather more than 17 tonnes of electronic material, more than two tonnes of batteries and nearly two tonnes of mercury vapour lamps. Earth Day is celebrated every year in 193 countries. It has become the biggest participatory movement of the planet related to ecology.
