BALSAM INN

- Off the grill
- Quartier du musée
Hit many details: the ceilings 14 feet high, the ancient seats of fire Chez Gauthier, beautiful green forest of bar stools, footrest brass bar - an old ramp of St. Joseph's Oratory - the 'bar cabinet from an old general store, elegant fixtures reminiscent of an old brewery or even glass doors overlooking the kitchen which is derived from antiquity on industrial Park Avenue. Mr. Baldwin, has an eye for such things.
In the dining room there are about 80 seats, a restaurant tables seating area and high tables space evoking the atmosphere of a bar. Cocktails with more flavors than what we used to enjoy; a little taste of the forest, just like the tree balsam. At the kitchens, Chef Éric Dupuis concocted a short menu, but very good. There are a few salads, breads cakes, entrees, daily specials and desserts.
