Several concerts are organized in downtown Montreal to mark the 250th anniversary of the famous composer and pianist Beethoven. These concerts are held throughout the year.

A Musical Event Presented by the Chœur classique de Montréal

Two hundred and fifty years after the composer's birth, 85 choristers of the Chœur classique de Montréal, soloists and orchestra, gathered under the skilful and experienced direction of conductor Louis Lavigueur, present to us for just one evening this imposing Missa Solemnis.

A Dance Performance Presented by Les Grands Ballets

Dacing Beethoven presents two immense works by the great composer, which will be marking the 250th anniversary of the birth of Beethoven. The dancers, in symbiosis with the majestic music of Beethoven’s Symphony No 7, will present a work that produces, with its athletic achievements and its geometry danced in unison, a leitmotif effect.

Concerts all Year Round at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts 

To celebrate the 250th anniversary of the birth of Ludwig van Beethoven (1770-1827), Arte Musica presents the great composer's complete Piano Sonatas in 2020.
